Dear Pumped,
Oh thats easy! Breast pumps have magic elves inside of them that suck milk out your boob, and into small buckets.
Really though, they use a slight vacuum that empties the mammary and the milk is diverted to a reservoir/container. It's kinda most closely related to a wet/dry shop-vac, Sadly, substitution between shop-vac and breast pump is ill advised, but hilarious!
